Hailing from the small North East town of Tallangatta, Sal Kimber grew up surrounded by the beauty and space that today permeates her music. It’s infused with soul and there are elements of pop in there too, but it’s real Australian music telling real Australian stories.

Sal, along with her amazing band “The Rollin’ Wheel” consisting of core members, Cat Leahy and older sister Buffy along with a revolving extra cast, take a soulful route through country, pop and rock.

Sal’s immaculate craft of building and writing songs are inspired and mentored by her father who entered her at the age of 20, into the Port Fairy Folk Festival songwriting competition. Both songs made the final and she won the emerging artist award. Sal’s wonderful tales of life wind slow, fast, long and deep, like the mighty rivers which have been at Sal’s doorstep since childhood.

Sal’s voice is truthful, honest and glistening, mirroring her life and community. A true rural advocate for all, Sal Kimber and her band have toured long and hard with great integrity and diligence to their surroundings and especially with her fans.

Sal Kimber & the Rollin’ Wheel are a joy to behold live, we got ‘em and we can’t wait!!
