Defuxe – the opposite of Deluxe! This power punk trio are unnervingly raw and ultra talented. Greig Withers (Geigwah), Adam Lacovich (Lacca) and Dan Goonan (Goono) play with a looseness that underpins their musicality. In the true punk tradition these three legendary locals take everyday life’s mundane chores and turn them into life-affirming anecdotes with a twist, catchy as all get out riffs with honest sarcastic lyrics.

All the great tunes aside, the banter between these three dudes is gold! Barbs are aimed and the “mick” is truly taken. Whilst supporting King of the North (who smashed it out of the park at BMF 2016) Goono uttered the immortal words “Hi, we are supporting KOTN and we’re called Peasants of the North East!” Honest, raw and nothing like anyone else but themselves, Defuxe are Defuxe!
